Bulldogs Enter Final Day Of UCF Challenge In Second

ORLANDO, Fla. – After over two and a half rounds of action, Mississippi State women's golf will enter the final day in second at 23-under par. Avery Weed leads the individual field at 10-under par.

With expected cold weather on Tuesday morning, the tournament shifted to an 8 a.m. shotgun start for the second round of action. Immediately upon concluding the second round, team's began the third round of action. The field will pick back up at 10 a.m. CT to complete what they did not finish on Monday.

Weed sits at 10-under entering the final day of the UCF Challenge. She shot a bogey-free 4-under in the second round to move to 6-under par. Through 14 holes in the final round, Weed is 4-under with four holes remaining and holds a one-stroke advantage over Auburn's Katie Cranston, who has three holes remaining.

Ines Belchior sits T7 at 7-under par. The freshman recorded back-to-back rounds under par after finishing the second round at 4-under. She's currently 1-under in the final round with three holes remaining.

Moa Stridh is T11 entering the final stretch of the third round. Stridh shot 1-under in the second round and holds a 5-under score with three holes remaining.

Samantha Whateley is T18 with three holes remaining. She's currently shooting 1-under in the third round, equivalent to her three-day total.

Izzy Pellot is bouncing back in the final round of action, currently shooting 1-under par in the round with three holes remaining.
