
Bulldogs Add Two-Time High School All-American Nucci

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State soccer has signed Ava Nucci to the 2025 roster. The Chevy Chase, Maryland, native was a two-time United Soccer Coaches High School All-American while playing club soccer for Virginia Union.
Nucci, who can play both midfield and forward, was a three-star prospect according to TopDrawerSoccer. In both 2022 and 2024, she was tabbed First Team ECNL All-Mid-Atlantic Conference. While playing with Virginia Union, she was chosen to compete in the 2022 ECNL National Selection Game as a member of the West squad.
Last year, she played in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) and was named all-conference in the Atlantic region. She then signed as an Academy Player with DC Power FC in the USL while maintaining her NCAA eligibility.
Nucci graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School.
