Women’s Basketball Adds Faith Wylder To 2025-26 Roster

STARKVILLE – Head coach Sam Purcell announced the signing of Faith Wylder on Tuesday, becoming the fifth portal addition for the Bulldogs this spring.
Wylder, a 6-6 forward form New York City, makes the move to Starkville after spending her freshman season at Stony Brook. She played in six games last season for the Seawolves before suffering a season-ending injury.
Wylder joins Awa Fane, Saniyah King, Trayanna Crisp and Kharyssa Richardson as transfer additions to Purcell's '25-26 roster. Also joining next year's squad are three top 100 espnW prospects: Jaylah Lampley (No. 38), Madison Francis (No. 39) and Nataliyah Gray (No. 95). The trio now rank 11th in ESPN's latest Top 25 Recruiting Class Rankings, the second-best class in program history behind the sixth-ranked 2019 class.
