Bulldogs Fall In Quarterfinal Round Of SEC Championship

BELLEAIR, Fla. – The Mississippi State women's golf squad concluded their four-day stay at the Pelican Golf Club on Thursday, falling in the quarterfinal round of match play, 3-1-1.

Chiara Horder won the sole individual point for the Bulldogs in the match. She started the day with wins on the first three holes and eventually secured the 5&4 victory. Avery Weed's match resulted in a tie after Ole Miss secured the match-clinching third point.

The Bulldogs will learn of their postseason fate when the NCAA Women's Golf Selection Show airs on Wednesday, April 23. The selection show will be broadcast live on Golf Channel at 12 p.m. CT.
