Everything You Need To Know: 2025 Maroon & White Spring Game
April 16, 2025 | Football
STARKVILLE – Mississippi State fans will get their first look at the 2025 football team Saturday as the Bulldogs take the field for the annual Maroon & White Spring Game at Davis Wade Stadium. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. CT, with gates opening at 11 a.m.
Admission is free, and all fans are encouraged to attend as the Bulldogs wrap up spring practice with a live scrimmage in front of their home crowd. Coach Jeff Lebby and the program are also excited to welcome many Bulldog letterwinners back to Starkville, with several expected to be in attendance throughout the day.
Game Format
The game is scheduled to last one hour and will feature a standard scoring system.
The coaching staff and rosters will be split Maroon vs. White, though rosters and personnel groupings are not reflective of a formal depth chart. The format allows for balanced reps across positions and is not intended to designate starters or rankings.
Seating
Seating will be available exclusively on the east side of the stadium in Sections 16 through 25.
Entrance
Fans should enter and exit through Gates H and L, both located on the east side of Davis Wade. Personal-sized coolers are permitted, following the same policy as baseball games at Dudy Noble Field. Standard baseball season stadium screening protocols will also apply upon entry to Davis Wade Stadium. Concessions will be available for purchase during the spring game.
Broadcast Information
While the spring game will not be televised, fans can still follow the action live through the Bulldog Sports Network radio broadcast, available on select affiliates and streaming at HailState.com. Coverage begins at 11:30 a.m. This aligns with the rest of the SEC, where only one school is airing its spring game on TV.
In lieu of a live television broadcast, Mississippi State will produce a 30-minute spring football recap show that will air on SEC Network throughout the offseason. The show will feature highlights, interviews, and behind-the-scenes access from spring practice and the Maroon & White Game.
Parking
Baseball ticket holders have priority in designated baseball parking lots, and a valid baseball parking pass will be required in those areas. All other public parking lots will be open and free of charge. Barr Avenue will be closed to traffic from B.S. Hood Drive to Memorial Hall and Gardner Hall beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Events Across Starkville
Saturday will also feature the return of a community favorite – the Cotton District Arts Festival, presented by the Starkville Area Arts Council. Held annually in Starkville's Historic Cotton District, the festival blends art, music, and food into a spring showcase that draws visitors from across the region. It's a great opportunity to explore all that the "Best Small Town in the South" has to offer.
Baseball at Dudy Noble Field
Fans attending the spring game are also encouraged to support the Diamond Dawgs, who will host the Florida Gators for a key SEC baseball series this weekend. Fans can purchase single-game tickets here.

Looking Ahead: Super Bulldog Weekend (May 1–4)
Just a few weeks away, Mississippi State's annual spring tradition – Super Bulldog Weekend – returns May 1–4 with a full weekend of athletic events and fan activities:
Â
One of the highlights of the weekend is the return of the Starkville Derby on Saturday, May 3. Known as the world's largest dachshund dog race, the event benefits the Oktibbeha County Humane Society and was recently named Best Large Festival of the Year by the Mississippi Tourism Association.
The dates for both this weekend's spring game and next month's Super Bulldog Weekend were selected following a survey distributed in January. Feedback was gathered from fans, alumni, letterwinners, students, and community members to help shape the spring calendar and deliver the best possible experience for the Bulldog community.
