TEAM NOTES
- No. 14 Mississippi State was handed an 88-61 defeat by No. 20 Missouri on Saturday afternoon at Humphrey Coliseum.
- The Bulldogs dropped to 16-6 overall and to 4-5 in SEC play.
- Six of State's last seven opponents were ranked inside the Associated Press Top 25, four of six squads were ranked among the AP Top 10.
- After today's loss, the Bulldogs still hold a 14-7 series advantage over Missouri. The Tigers have two of the last three in the series.
- Missouri used nine three-pointers during the first half to build a 45-31 halftime lead. Overall, the Tigers drained 15 triples en route to the 27-point decision.
- The Bulldogs drop to 8-6 versus NCAA NET Quad 1 and Quad 2 opponents on the season.Â
- State is 5-1 this season and 26-9 over the last three seasons under Coach Jans during day games. Day games are considered contests that tipoff before 5 p.m. local time.
- The Josh Hubbard-Claudell Harris Jr.-RJ Melendez-Cameron Matthews and Michael Nwoko combination started its 12th consecutive game, its 13th overall outing of 2024-25 and fell to 8-5 on the season.
- The Bulldogs got out in transition and converted 14 of the game's 20 fastbreak points.
- State tallied six steals to bring its season total to 209 which sits at fourth place in program history through 22 games.Â
- As a team, State connected on 20-of-55 from the field (36.4 percent), recorded an 8-of-26 clip from three point-territory (30.8 percent) and sank 13-of-20 at the foul line (65.0 percent).
- The Bulldogs have now drained 186 three pointers this season which sits at third best in program history through 22 games.
- Conversely, Missouri recorded a 33-for-60 shooting effort (55.0 percent), hit on a 15-for-32 three-point clip (46.9 percent) and knocked down 7-10 at the charity stripe (70.0 percent).

Josh Hubbard
- Started his 36th consecutive game over the last two seasons.
- Notched 13 of his team-high 24 points during the first half.Â
- Collected double figures for the 21st time this season and for the 30th time during his last 31 outings.
- Made it back-to-back outings and gives him 21 career games with 20-plus points
- The 24 points enabled Hubbard to vault into 43rd place on the program's all-time scoring list passing Horatio Webster (1997-98), Marcus Grant (1992-93-94-95) and Winsome Frazier (2002-03-04-05).
- Compiled 985 points for his career, which is third-most in program history through 57 career games. He's 15 away from becoming the 45th player with 1,000.
- Finished the game with six triples which tied his season's best for the second straight game.
- Buried five-plus treys for the fifth time this season and the 13th occasion of his career.
- Knocked down multiple triples in 19 of 22 games this season and in 48 of 57 career games.
- His six treys bring his career total to 179 which sits 9th in program history.Â
- Buried at least one trey in 35 straight games dating back to the Georgia game on 02/07/2024. The 35-game run is the 2nd longest streak in program history.
- Added two assists and a steal.
- Distributed multiple assists in 20 of 22 games this season.
- Made his 12th consecutive start, his 15th start this season and the 79th start of his career.
- 65 of his 79 starts have come over his last three seasons.
- Added six points, four rebounds and an assist.
- Made his 16th start in State's last 17 games and his 43rd start in 112 career games.
- Provided three points to go along with a rebound, a dime and a steal.
- Started in 88 of the team's last 91 games over the last three seasons under Coach Jans.
- Competed in his school-record 155th game.
- Scored the first bucket for the Bulldogs on a fastbreak layup.
- Added six points, five rebounds, five dimes and two steals.
- Brought his career total to 249 steals as he continues to build on his school record which he set during the McNeese game on 12/14.Â
- Grabbed five boards in 18 out of 22 games this season and in 85 outings in his career.
- Collected multiple steals for the 18th time this season and in 72 career games.
- Dished out at least five assists for the 20th time in his career where State fell to 15-5 in those games.
- Made his 19th straight start and his 21st career start between State and Miami over the last two seasons.
- Recorded two points coupled with four rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
- All six of his games with multiple rejections have come this year at State.Â
BENCH NOTES
- KeShawn Murphy scored 16 of the 20 bench points for State.
- Nearly made it a double-double by collecting a team-high nine rebounds and two blocks.
- State is 9-3 this season and 14-4 over his career when Murphy reaches double figures.
- Grabbed at least five boards in 17 out of 22 games this season.
- Registered six of his eight outings of multiple blocks in 2024-25.
- Dellquan Warren added two dimes and a rebound.
