ATLANTA, Georgia - Mississippi State guard Josh Hubbard chatted with Neil Price following State's 12-point victory over Georgia Tech during the ACC/SEC Challenge.

Q: What does it mean to get your first true road win?
JH: "Yeah, it means a lot man. We were so focused on getting the road win. We know road wins are hard and getting those are hard. So, we just wanted this one. We just executed hard, and we knew what it took to win."
Q: What did Jamarion Davis-Fleming and Brandon Walker provide for this team in their first start this season?
JH: "Yeah, they gave us the extra push. They boxed out really well. They were really good on the glass starting off and mostly the whole game. So, shout out to them. They started well, and they gave us a spark."
Q: Then, you gave us a spark to start the second half. What changed for you in the second half of the game?
JH: "Yeah, my teammates and coaches told me to stay confident and keep shooting. They were going to fall eventually. So, I just felt confident. I got a rhythm going and they started falling."
Q: You guys did so many things right against SMU but didn't come away with a win. How does it feel to do the things you needed to do tonight and get rewarded for it?"
JH: "Yeah, it's an accomplishment, man. We work so hard you know in practice and then in the game. So, when we put it all together like you said and come up with a win, it's just a special feeling especially on the road."
