PFSN Names Smith To All-America Team

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State safety Isaac Smith was named a Third Team All-American by Pro Football & Sports Network (PFSN), the organization announced Wednesday.

Smith, a junior from Fulton, Miss., started nine of the 10 games he played in 2025 while tallying 64 tackles, one TFL, one sack, one interception and three pass breakups during the regular season. His 64 tackles ranked fourth on the team.

He earned a pair of double-digit tackle games and now has eight in his career. For the second time in as many seasons, he posted a double-digit tackle game in the Egg Bowl, with 13 tackles this season and 12 in last year's contest in Oxford. His other 10+ tackle game in 2025 was at Arkansas when he registered 11 total tackles. Smith earned his first career interception in Mississippi State's 38-10 victory over Northern Illinois on Sept. 20.

Smith enters bowl season with 206 career tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, six pass breakups, one forced fumble, one recovered fumble, one sack and one interception.
