TEAM NOTES
- Mississippi State returned to the win column with a 75-68 victory over Southeastern Louisiana during a Saturday matinee at Humphrey Coliseum.
- All square at 31-31 with 2:04 left in the first half, Jayden Epps connected on a three-pointer to put State up for good and enabled the Bulldogs to score nine of the stanza's last 13 points to grab a 40-35 edge into the locker room.
- Coach Jans has posted a 51-7 record at State when leading at the half.
- The Bulldogs stretched the lead to double figures, 48-38, on a Josh Hubbard trifecta with 14:37 remaining.
- State's largest advantage was 67-50 at the 6:18 mark following another Hubbard trey.
- The Lions wouldn't go away and pulled to within six points on four occasions including multiple times inside the final minute.
- State would salt the game away on a Ja'Borri McGhee press breaker layup and an Epps free throw to close out the 75-68 decision.
- The Bulldogs improved to 37-4 versus non-SEC opponents during the regular season under Coach Jans.
- The win also allowed State to move to 20-1 all-time versus the Lions and 60-5 all-time against the Southland Conference.
- Coach Jans has guided the Bulldogs to a 21-3 record during the month of November.
- State has won the battle of the boards in all three games this season and outrebounded the Lions by a 43-33 margin.
- The Maroon and White improved to 34-10 under Coach Jans when amassing 40+ rebounds.
- The Bulldogs had five players distributed multiple assists and State had 16 assists on its 25 made baskets.
- State forced a season's best 16 turnovers on the defensive end.
- The Bulldogs shot 25-of-55 from the field (45.5 percent), sank 9-for-24 from three-point territory (37.5 percent) and hit on 16-of-23 at the foul line (69.6 percent).
- Conversely, Southeastern Louisiana recorded a 24-of-66 shooting effort (36.4 percent), connected on a 4-of-25 clip on its three-pointers (16.0 percent) and tallied a 16-for-18 mark at the charity stripe (88.9 percent).

Josh Hubbard
- Started his 53rd consecutive game over the past three seasons.
- Opened up scoring for the Bulldogs with a midrange jumper assisted by Ja'Borri McGhee.
- Registered 15 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
- Scored double figures in 45 of his last 46 outings (02/24/2024-11/15/2025).
- Notched 10+ points in 66 of 72 games for his career.
- The 15 points brings his total to 1,307 career points which helped him pass Timmy Bowers (2001-02-03-04) and Rich Knarr (1973-74-75-76). Hubbard is now tied with Tang Hamilton (1998-99-2000-01) for 21st place in program history.
- Dished out multiple assists in 51 of 72 career games.
- Hit a three-pointer in a school-record 50 consecutive games (02/07/2024-11/15/2025) and knocked down multiple three's in 62 of 72 career outings.
