January 18, 2025 | Football
Four Mississippi State standouts will be going head-to-head during the divisional round of the NFL Playoffs.
D-Line U will be on display on Saturday as Denico Autry and the Houston Texans travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs and six-time Pro Bowler Chris Jones at 3:30 p.m. on ABC, ESPN and ESPN+.
It will be the 20th-career playoff game for Jones, who leads all Bulldog alums with three Super Bowl rings to his credit. He has 38 career tackles in the playoffs along with five tackles for loss, 2 ½ sacks, 16 quarterback hits, 11 passes defended and one forced fumble.
Autry appeared in his sixth playoff game last week and recorded a sack, the fifth of his postseason career. He has tallied 16 tackles, seven tackles for loss, eight quarterback hits, two pass defenses and forced a fumble during his career in the playoffs.
Sunday will be the time for two of State's stars in the secondary to shine. Former first-round pick Emmanuel Forbes and the Los Angeles Rams will visit the Philadelphia Eagles and six-time Pro Bowler Darius Slay at 2 p.m. on NBC and Peacock.
Slay snagged his first-career playoff interception last weekend. In eight previous postseason games, he has racked up 29 tackles and defended four passes.

In other news, Lideatrick Griffin signed a with the Green Bay Packers earlier this week joining Makai Polk (Falcons) as the second Bulldog wide receiver to agree to a futures contract since the end of the regular season.
