Offensive Notes
- Seydou Traore made his first reception as a Bulldog in the first quarter.
- In Kelly Akharaiyi's MSU debut, he recorded his first reception as a Bulldog with an 18-yard catch in the third quarter.
- Keyvone Lee's rushing touchdown in the third quarter was his first rushing score as a Bulldog and his first touchdown since 2022 when he was at Penn State. It was also Lee's seventh career rushing touchdown.
- Blake Shapen found Davon Booth from 15 yards out in the fourth quarter for a touchdown. The score was Booth's first career receiving touchdown, the eighth overall touchdown of his career.
- Kevin Coleman Jr. took an 80-yard pass from Blake Shapen to the house in the fourth quarter. This was the longest reception by a State player since Nov. 23, 2019 against Abilene Christian (Tommy Stevens to Kylin Hill that went 88 yards).
- Blake Shapen has thrown a touchdown pass in 13 straight games dating back to Nov. 19, 2022. Shapen has also thrown for over 200 yards in nine of his last ten starts.
- With Coleman Jr.'s 103 receiving yards, this marks the first time since Dec. 12 (Jaden Walley, 129) & Dec. 19 (Jaden Walley, 100) of 2020 that State has had back-to-back games with a 100+ yard receiver. (Kevin Coleman Jr., 103 vs. ASU, and Jordan Mosley, 104 vs. EKU).
- Coleman's 103 yards are the 127th all-time 100-yard receiving game in program history.
Defensive Notes
- Traveon Wright made his collegiate and MSU debut.
- Kedrick Bingley-Jones and Branden Jennings both had one tackle for loss.
- Isaac Smith set a career-high with 17 tackles. This was Smith's second-straight game leading the Bulldogs in tackles. This was the Bulldogs first game with a 17+ tackle performance since 2023 against Ole Miss when Bookie Watson recorded 21.Â
- Branden Jennings recorded his first career sack in the third quarter.
- The Bulldogs held Arizona State to 69 passing yards for the game, the lowest total passing yards allowed by the Bulldogs since they held ETSU to 43 on Nov. 19, 2022.

- Hayes Hammond has served as the team's long snapper in 28 straight games dating back to Nov. 25, 2021.
