19 Bulldogs Earn Academic Honors

19 Bulldogs Earn Academic Honors

STARKVILLE – Nineteen Mississippi State softball student-athletes earned at least one academic honor in 2024. Most recently, 10 Bulldogs earned NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition.

Thirteen members of State's 25-player roster in 2024 earned SEC Honor Roll recognition. Freshmen and first-year transfers from outside the conference are not eligible for the Honor Roll, but another four Bulldogs were named to the conference's First-Year Honor Roll.

Additionally, Madisyn Kennedy, Jessie Blaine, Riley Hull and Josey Marron were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team in 2024. Kennedy was a finalist for the Academic All-America Team. Those four athletes were also honored by the SEC and NFCA.

Morgan Bernardini, Hosanna Lindblade, Leilani Pulemau, Lexi Sosa, Kat Wallace and Ella Wesolowski were all recognized by both the NFCA and one of the SEC honor rolls.
