Horder, Pellot and Weed named WGCA All-American Scholars

STARKVILLE – The Women's Golf Coaches Association announced their 2024 All-American Scholar Team on Monday. Junior Chiara Horder, sophomore Izzy Pellot and freshman Avery Weed represented the Bulldogs on this year's list.

The All-American Scholar Team features a total of 1,497 golfers from 412 different programs across the country. To be selected, the golfer must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur golfer throughout the 2024 season and have played in at least 50% of all their teams' events.

The Bulldogs have been represented on the WGCA All-American Scholar team every season under Charlie Ewing. This year marks the eighth straight season a Bulldog has been selected and the seventh straight with at least three selections.
