Bulldogs Conclude NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Mississippi State track and field concluded its final day of competition at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Friday evening. The Bulldogs closed out the week with two First Team All-Americans and three Second Team All-Americans throughout three days of competition.

Freshman Roury McCloyen competed in the discus, the final event for State, finishing with a mark of 50.90m
(167-0). He concludes the 2024 season with several accolades including Second Team All-America Honors in the shot put and the shot put and discus freshman school records.Â
