Lopez Ramirez has been one of the premier college golfers since she got to Mississippi State. The junior from Spain recently won her second-straight SEC Individual Championship while helping the Bulldogs win their first-ever SEC Team Championship just a few days later. Her strong play all season also helped Lopez Ramirez win her second consecutive SEC Player of the Year honor. On the year, Lopez Ramirez shot an average of 68.4, the third best average in the SEC. She also took home a second individual title at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, where she shot her best round of the season and broke an event record at seven-under par.
