STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State Bulldogs head to Hilton Head Island for the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. The tournament, originating from Long Cove Golf Club, will be nationally televised on NBC's Golf Channel beginning at 1:30.

The Darius Rucker Intercollegiate features an 18-team field, with ten teams being ranked in the top 25. 6 of those 10 hold rankings within the top 10. State will be grouped with #7 Texas and #18 Duke on day one.

Opening the lineup for Mississippi State will be Julia Lopez Ramirez. Lopez Ramirez enters the tournament as the ninth ranked individual golfer in the most recent Clippd rankings.

In the two spot will be Ana Pina Ortega. The junior will be making her first appearance of the spring and third of the season. In her first appearance of the season, Pina Ortega sat a new career best round of two-under par.

Avery Weed will shoot from the three spot in the lineup. In the Bulldog's last tournament, the Nexus Collegiate, Weed earned a runner-up finish. This helped her earn her first career SEC Freshman of the Week honor.

Surapa Janthamunee will shoot fourth. SJ will be appearing in her fourth tournament of the season and second of the spring.

Rounding out the lineup will be Izzy Pellot, who ranks third on the team in career par or better rounds.
