Mississippi State Reschedules Memphis Game, Updates Additional Schedule Alterations

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State softball's previously postponed game against Memphis now has a new date. The Bulldogs and Tigers will meet at 5 p.m. CT on Tuesday, April 16.

The originally-scheduled doubleheader on March 12 was postponed due to injuries within the Tiger program. Because Memphis also has a second midweek game on April 17, the teams will now play just a single game.

Due to logistical challenges, the rescheduled Memphis contest will also result in the cancellation of State's April 17 neutral-site meeting with Southern Miss in Jackson, Mississippi. Additionally, the Bulldogs were supposed to play a doubleheader on March 20 at Alabama State that was reduced to a single game due to Alabama State injuries. The second game of that series will not be made up.
