Weather Postpones Friday Softball Series Opener

STARKVILLE – No. 21/21 Mississippi State's SEC home opener against No. 13/17 Texas A&M has been postponed due to heavy rains overnight and continuing throughout Friday.
With better weather in the forecast tomorrow, the Bulldogs and Aggies will now play a doubleheader on Saturday with both games airing on SEC Network+. Game 1 will begin at noon CT with the second game of the series to follow 30 minutes after.
Fans with tickets to Friday's postponed contest will have their tickets honored for both games on Saturday. Think Pink rally towels will still be distributed on Saturday, but Friday's promotional "Spread the Nusz" t-shirt will now be given away for Bulldog strikeouts throughout the remainder of the home schedule.
