Bulldogs Sign USL W League Champion Hannah Jibril

STARKVILLE – USL W Champion Hannah Jibril, who spent her freshman and sophomore seasons at NC State, has signed with Mississippi State soccer, head coach Nick Zimmerman announced on Saturday.

Jibril, a forward from Glyndon, Maryland, spent this past summer playing in the USL W League with NC Courage U23 where she tallied seven goals in 14 matches. Two of those goals were key in the Courage's 2024 championship run. Jibril scored in a 3-0 conference final victory and tied the USL W championship match, 1-1, before the Courage went on to a 3-2 victory.

Jibril played in 14 matches for the Wolfpack this fall, notching a goal against VCU. That was her second career collegiate goal after she also found the net against Syracuse in 2023.

Prior to her collegiate debut, Jibril played for Pipeline SC in the ECNL. In 2021, she was named First Team All-North Atlantic Conference while playing with Pipeline. That year also saw her invited to the United States U17 Women's National Team Camp. The next summer following her senior year of high school, Jibril was selected to the ECNL Florida National Selection Game.

She will enroll at Mississippi State in the spring semester.
