- Michael Van Buren Jr. threw for 306 yards in just his second career start. This is the lowest number of starts made to record a 300-yard passing game for State since at least 2013.
Offensive Notes
- Luke Work made his first career start and became the third true freshman to start a game this season, joining Mario Craver (WR) and Michael Van Buren Jr. (QB).
- Mario Craver and Michael Van Buren Jr. connected on a 72-yard reception. It was the longest play of their careers and the second-longest play from scrimmage for Mississippi State this season. This was also the second-longest play from scrimmage Georgia has allowed all season.
- Mario Craver hauled in his 5th reception of 30+ yards on his 72-yard reception in the 2nd quarter. All five receptions of more than 30+ yards have come in five separate games.
- Michael Van Buren Jr. connected with Kelly Akharaiyi for a 24-yard score in the second quarter. This was the first career passing touchdown for Van Buren Jr. and Akharaiyi's first touchdown as a Bulldog.
- Johnnie Daniels ran in a 19-yard touchdown in the third quarter. This was also the longest rush of his career.
- Davon Booth had a season-long 18-yard rush in the third quarter.
- Davon Booth caught a two-yard touchdown pass from Michael Van Buren Jr. late in the third quarter. This was the second receiving touchdown of his career.
- Kelly Akharaiyi hauled in his second touchdown of the game late in the fourth quarter.
- Kevin Coleman Jr. has caught a pass in 23 straight games. This is his fifth game this season with five or more receptions.
- Kevin Coleman Jr. recorded his second 100-yard receiving game this season. His 103 yards were also tied a Mississippi State high for him.

Defensive Notes
- DeAgo Brumfield made his Mississippi State debut.
- Branden Jennings earned his second pass break of the season, the second of his career, that led to a Brice Pollock interception.
- Brice Pollock earned his first career interception during the first quarter. The interception set up a Kyle Ferrie field goal to give Mississippi State a 3-0 lead.
- Pollock forced a fumble in the first quarter, his first career forced fumble.
- Brice Pollock is the first Bulldog to record an interception and force a fumble in the same game since Collin Duncan on Nov. 7, 2020.
- DeAgo Brumfield picked off a pass from Carson Beck in the endzone during the third quarter. It was Brumfield's first career interception.
- Corey Ellington earned his first pass break of the season during the first quarter.
- Stone Blanton led State with nine tackles against Georgia.
