Camgian Expands Partnership With Mississippi State Athletics
January 10, 2024 | Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball
STARKVILLE --Â Mississippi State Athletics announced Wednesday that it is expanding its partnership with Camgian, an award-winning software company based in Starkville. The multi-year sponsorship agreement was reached through Learfield's MSU Bulldog Sports Properties, the media rights holder for the athletic department.
Â
As part of the sponsorship, Camgian will name the student section in the newly renovated Humphrey Coliseum. They will have branding throughout the student sections and provide rally towels to the newly added student courtside standing area for select games.
Â
Gary Butler, Camgian CEO, said "Camgian is proud to be part of the Bulldog family, and we are excited to show our support of MSU both on and off the court. We have always had a fantastic relationship with MSU through our engineering hires and joint research, so to sponsor the student section felt like a perfect fit."Â
Â
The concept of this new standing area was driven by a desire to enhance the gameday experience for all fans and create one of the most dynamic and intimidating atmospheres in collegiate basketball.
Â
"Students are such an important part of our gameday experience at Mississippi State, and the same can be said for other top basketball programs around the country," said Deputy Athletic Director for External Engagement Tom Greene. "We're grateful to have an innovative, fast-growing company like Camgian headquartered here in Starkville to share and support this vision."Â Â
Â
The 2023-24 men's and women's basketball seasons are both currently underway with conference play beginning in January. Individual game tickets are available for purchase at HailState.com/Tickets.Â
