Bulldogs Haul In Academic Awards

STARKVILLE – A dozen Mississippi State softball student-athletes have earned All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition from the NFCA, bringing the total number of Bulldogs earning at least one academic recognition to 23 in 2023.
State has seen athletes named to the SEC Honor Roll, SEC First-Year Honor Roll and College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
Riley Hull, Chloe Malau'ulu, Jackie McKenna and Kat Wallace all collected three academic honors. Hull, Malau'ulu and McKenna were awarded by the NFCA and CSC and earned spots on the SEC Honor Roll. Wallace was recognized by the NFCA and CSC and made the SEC First-Year Honor Roll.
Saleyna Daniel, Grace Fagan, Shea Moreno and Aspen Wesley all received recognition from the NFCA and were on the SEC Honor Roll. Madisyn Kennedy was a CSC selection and an SEC Honor Roll member. Josey Marron earned NFCA and SEC First-Year Honor Roll recognition.
