
Bulldogs Look To Bounce Back In Third Round At NCAA Championships

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – No. 18 Mississippi State ended the second round of the NCAA Championships on Saturday in 23rd.
No. 3 Illinois is the only team in the field going into the third round shooting under par through 36 holes with just 12 individuals shooting under par.
Hunter Logan is the frontrunner for MSU, sitting tied for 24th, making a 23-spot rise from his first-round finish. He shot even par with 14-straight bogey-free holes, and leads the field with 29 pars made through two rounds.
Ford Clegg is tied for 55th, and Garrett Endicott is tied for 67th. Ruan Pretorius carded a pair of back-to-back birdies to start his round.
Mississippi State will tee off for Round 3 at 2:15 p.m. CT from the No. 1 tee. Austin Vukovits will tee off first followed by Pretorius, Endicott, Clegg and Logan in 11-minute increments.
