Logan finished the tournament as the individual runner-up just one stroke behind the individual medalist, Georgia Southern's Ben Carr, who was competing on his home course. Logan shot two rounds in the 60s over the weekend, including a career-low 65 in the first round and 69 on Sunday.
"I thought we really battled hard today," head coach Dusty Smith said. "We showed a lot of character this week in how we competed and handled adversity this week. I'm really happy for Hunter in how he rebounded from the last tournament. It shows a lot about what he is made of."
Logan shot bogey-free on the back nine in the first round, as well as the front nine in the second and third rounds. His runner-up performance tied his career-best finish and gives him three career top-five finishes.
Ford Clegg posted his 12th career top-10 finish, shooting 3-under through three rounds. After ending the first round one stroke over, he bounced back with consecutive rounds of 70. Clegg carded 10 birdies and an eagle, along with a bogey-free front nine in the second round.
Ruan Pretorius finished just one stroke behind Clegg in 11th. He recorded 14 birdies through 54 holes, carding back-to-back birdies four separate times throughout the tournament. Pretorius also went bogey-free on 21 consecutive holes, from the second hole in the first round to the fourth hole in the second round.
Garrett Endicott tied for 24th, and Austin Vukovits ended play tied for 38th. Vukovits made five of his 10 tournament birdies consecutively in the final round.
"Austin did a great job of not giving up and giving our team a counting score today by making birdie on five of his last six holes," Smith added. "Ford, Ruan and Garrett were steady all week. We are excited to be hosting at Mossy Oak in a couple of weeks and look forward to preparing.
The Bulldogs will return to play on April 3-4 when they host the Mossy Oak Collegiate at their home course at Mossy Oak Golf Club in West Point.
