TEAM NOTES
- For the second consecutive game, Mississippi State overcame a late deficit to force overtime on the road. However, Missouri knocked down a pair of three-pointers inside the final minute of the extra session to emerge with the 66-64 win.
- The Bulldogs fall to 18-10 overall and 6-9 in SEC action.Â
- The back-and-forth affair featured 12 ties and 19 lead changes.
- State had won its previous two overtime decisions in 2022-23 over TCU and at Ole Miss. Overall, head coach Chris Jans drops to 6-2 in overtime games.
- The Bulldogs had their seven-game winning streak over Missouri which dated back to the 2018-19 season come to a close. Overall, State still holds a 13-6 advantage over the Tigers.
