TEAM NOTES
- Mississippi State was unable to hold onto a late second half lead as Southern came back to earn a 60-59 victory over the Bulldogs.
- It marked State's first non-conference home loss under Coach Jans as the Bulldogs dropped to 10-1 over a two-year span. Â
