TEAM NOTES
- Mississippi State dropped a 58-50 contest at Georgia. The loss ends State's five-game winning streak over Georgia in the all-time series.
- After trailing 18-11 at the 3:34 mark of the first half, State scored 15 of the next 19 points to grab a 26-22 advantage with 17:39 left in the second half.
- Mississippi State forced Georgia into 18 turnovers and committed only nine turnovers on the offensive end. State has committed fewer turnovers than its opponents in 12 of 16 games this season.
- State's defense collected 12 steals which marks the ninth time that the Bulldogs have come away with double-digit steals.
- As a team, State connected on 18-of-61 from the floor (29.5 percent), 7-of-27 from beyond the three-point line (25.9 percent) and 7-of-22 from the free throw line (31.8 percent).
