Â
Izzy Pellot, who made her collegiate debut Friday, carded an 82 in her first round at State to finish tied for 46th.
Head Coach Charlie Ewing on the First Round
"We have come into this season and this week with a mindset of wanting to become a team that embraces the opportunity to perform when circumstances aren't ideal," Ewing said. "We want to be able to still find a way to score even when we don't have our best day. For a good portion of the round, we did a really nice job of that. Abbey [Daniel] and Julia [Lopez Ramirez] did a great job of just keeping things steady and playing really solid rounds for us when we needed them. Nothing changes for us going forward. Tomorrow, we continue forward with the same mindset and have a lot of confidence that it will be a really good day for us."
