New Bulldogs Begin Summer Classes

STARKVILLE – With three months until the 2022 football season kicks off, several new Bulldogs have already arrived in Starkville and have begun summer classes at Mississippi State.
A total of 17 new enrollees from the MSU football squad started the summer term on June 2, including:
- Offensive Lineman Jackson Cannon
- Defensive Back Audavion Collins
- Defensive Lineman Kalvin Dinkins
- Wide Receiver Marquez Dortch
- Punter George Georgopoulos
- Linebacker Javae Gilmore
- Offensive Lineman Jakson LaHue
- Defensive Back Wesley Miller
- Linebacker Khalid Moore
- Wide Receiver Kaydin Pope
- Defensive Lineman Donterry Russell
- Defensive Back Trent Singleton
- Linebacker Avery Sledge
- Offensive Lineman Lucas Taylor
- Wide Receiver Zavion Thomas
- Defensive Back Hunter Washington
- Defensive Lineman Trevion Williams
Most of the 17 new Bulldogs enrolled were a part of MSU head coach Mike Leach's successful 2022 signing class. The group was ranked as highly as No. 16 in the nation per Rivals.
Mississippi State is set to begin its upcoming campaign on Saturday, September 3, when the Bulldogs host the Memphis Tigers in a 6:30 p.m. game at Davis Wade Stadium.
