Davis Earns Spot on SEC Men’s Golf Community Service Team

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State sophomore Harrison Davis was named to the SEC Men's Golf Community Service Team, the conference office announced on Friday.
This marked Davis' first SEC award of his career. For the community service team, the Southeastern Conference looked for leaders among their community and their team.
In March of this year, Davis led his team in a community service project working with Partnership Middle School, a local middle school in the Starkville area. There, Davis helped in assisting with bus and carpool drop-off duty.
Davis is involved in Mississippi State's Student-Athlete Development Program. This has led him to host networking nights for fellow athletes, complete mock interviews and more.
At the 2022 Mossy Oak Collegiate, Davis shot a career-best third-round of 66, 6-under, to launch himself to a top-10 finish. At the 2022 SEC Championship, Davis entered the tournament in the third round as an alternate and shot a steady round of 1-over to help advance the Bulldogs to match play.
Davis and Mississippi State men's golf qualified for the NCAA New Haven Regional and are set to play from May 16-18.
