Softball Diamond Club To Host First Golf Tournament

STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State softball Diamond Club will host its first golf tournament over Alumni Weekend on Friday, April 8.

The tournament will be held at Starkville Country Club with a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m. CT. A box lunch, range balls and a golf cart will be provided. In addition to winning the tournament, there will be a silent auction on site and players can claim a variety of course prizes such as closest to the pin, longest drive and straightest drive.

Players may register in teams of four for $500 per team. Hole sponsorships are also available for $150 a tee. Registration for the event will close on April 1.

All gifts made to the campaign will be allocated to the donors Bulldog Club account in drive year 2022 toward the Diamond Club. All points associated with the gift will be credited to the same account.

Funds benefiting the Diamond Club are used at the discretion of the softball coaching staff to fun special projects and enhance the student-athlete experience.
