MSU Set To Face Western Michigan In 2023

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State and Western Michigan are set to meet in football during the 2023 season, it was announced Tuesday afternoon.
The first ever matchup between the two schools will take place on October 7, 2023, at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi.
The matchup replaces MSU's previously announced game on October 7, 2023, at Tulane. The Bulldogs will instead play the Green Wave on September 11, 2032, in New Orleans.
State's other non-conference opponents in 2023 include Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 2), Arizona (Sept. 9) and Southern Miss (Nov. 18). All four of MSU's non-conference matchups in 2023 will be played at Davis Wade Stadium.
MSU's 2023 SEC schedule will be released by the conference office at a later date.
