TEAM NOTES
- Mississippi State put its four-game losing streak in the rear-view mirror with a 68-49 rout of Missouri to rise to 15-11 overall and 6-7 in SEC action.
- The victory enabled the Bulldogs to move into a three-way tie with Florida and South Carolina for 7th place in the SEC standings.
- The Maroon and White used a 21-6 run from the 14:42 mark to the 8:44 mark of the first half to flip an early four-point deficit at 7-3 into an 11-point lead at 24-13.
- Four State players amassed double figures for the 12th time this season. The Bulldogs move to 11-1 when accomplishing the feat. State also has had four players with 10-plus points during five of its six SEC wins.
- State held a 34-23 lead at halftime and its largest lead of 19 points was reached inside the closing minute.
- The 23 first-half points for Missouri were the fewest for a SEC opponent this season. Overall, State's defense limited the Tigers to a 31.4 percent from the field which marked the lowest shooting percentage for a MSU opponent on the season.
- The 49 points for Missouri tied for the fifth-lowest total for a SEC opponent under Ben Howland. State held South Carolina to 48 points last season.
- Mississippi State has won five straight and 10 of its last 11 meetings since the 2014-15 season over Missouri. The Bulldogs now hold an 11-5 series advantage.
- State connected on 17 of its 26 field goals inside the paint for a 34-20 edge. The Bulldogs also tallied 18 of the game's 28 points off turnovers.
- As a team, State shot 26-of-53 from the floor (49.1 percent), 3-of-12 from three-point range (25.0 percent) and 13-of-18 from the free throw line (72.2 percent).

- Anderson Garcia stuffed the stats sheet with seven points, a career-high tying eight rebounds, three steals and two assists.
- State has won all five games when Garcia has scored at least seven points this season.
- Javian Davis provided six points and two rebounds.
- Shakeel Moore notched four assists, four rebounds, two points and two steals.
- For Moore, it was his 13th game with two or more steals.
