MSU Student-Athletes Turn In 11th Consecutive Semester With 3.0 Or Better

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State Athletics continued its trend of academic success during the Fall 2022 semester, as Bulldog student-athletes posted a 3.16.

It marked the 11^th consecutive semester that MSU Athletics has recorded a department GPA of a 3.0 or higher, and it tied for the department's highest fall semester GPA on record.

Additionally, 44 current and former student-athletes earned a degree.

11 programs garnered a GPA of 3.0 or higher including baseball, men's golf, men's tennis, men's track and field, women's basketball, women's golf, soccer, softball, women's tennis, women's track and field and volleyball
Men's tennis earned the highest GPA among all sports (3.67)
Women's golf produced the highest GPA among women's sports (3.47)
Men's golf recorded the second-highest GPA among all sports (3.61)
Soccer earned the second-highest women's team GPA (3.45)
Football recorded its third-highest fall GPA on record
53 student-athletes earned Top Dawg honors (4.0)
75 student-athletes turned in a 3.80 or better
256 student-athletes earned a spot on the Bulldog Honor Roll (3.0 or higher)
