STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State women's basketball squad returns home after spending the Thanksgiving holiday in Puerto Rico. The Bulldogs will welcome the Warhawks of ULM to Humphrey Coliseum on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

6 • Six different Bulldogs have recorded at least 10 steals this season. Leading the way have been Ahlana Smith (14) and Anastasia Hayes (13).
21 • Denae Carter already has 21 offensive rebounds, despite averaging just 15 minutes per game, which is nearly double the next highest on the team. Carter ranks second in rebounds per game (6.4).

Series History
• Mississippi State leads the all-time series 6-1. When the game is played in Starkville, the Bulldogs are a perfect 5-0.
• This will be the two programs first meeting since Nov. 25, 2014, when MSU defeated ULM 80-46.
• State's lone loss in the series came in 1994 in Monroe, La.

Bulldog Takeaways
• This will be Mississippi State's third game in five days, with one of those days being a full travel day back from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
• This will be the quickest 3-game stretch MSU has had this season. They played three games in six days to open the season from Nov. 9 through Nov. 14.
• After Tuesday night's game, MSU will play just three games over the next 16 days.

• The early signing period ended on Wednesday, with Mississippi State signing four players for the 2023-24 season. The class was ranked as high as 16th nationally following the signing of Quanirah Cherry-Montague but should climb with the addition of junior college star Meloney Thames.
• Quanirah Cherry-Montague (Atlantic City, N.J.) – rated as a 4-star recruit and the No. 48 player in the nation
• Jasmine Powell (Joliet, Ill.) – rated as a 4-star recruit and the No. 54 player in the nation
• Mjracel Sheppard (Bellevue, Wash.) – rated as a 4-star recruit and the No. 86 player in the nation
• Meloney Thames (Choctaw, Miss.) – Junior College All-American, Second in the nation in scoring (26.3 ppg)

Get-To-Know ULM
• ULM enters Tuesday with a record of 2-3 and 0-1 on the road. They have lost two straight contests, a 60-53 defeat at the hands of Central Arkansas and a 78-54 loss at UCF.
• ULM is coached by Brooks Donald Williams, who is in her fourth season at ULM. She is 12-74 in her career in Monroe, La.
• ULM is led by Kierra Brimzy, pacing the Warhawks at 9.8 points per game. Following closely behind is Katlyn Manuel at 9.2 ppg.
• As a team, they shoot 40% from the floor and have allowed opponents to shoot 36%.
• The second quarter has been their best quarter this season. ULM is outscoring their opponents 20 to 12 in the second frame.
