No. 24 Bulldogs Fall At No. 6 Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Mississippi State held the Alabama offense to its lowest yardage output all season long, but the No. 24 Bulldogs ultimately fell to the No. 6 Crimson Tide by a score of 30-6.
State limited Alabama to just 290 yards of total offense, 84 yards less than the Crimson Tide's previous season low of 374 yards. Alabama entered the game averaging 513.3 yards per game.
The Bulldog offense also outgained the Tide. Led by 231 passing yards from Will Rogers and 53 yards on the ground from Jo'quavious Marks, MSU totaled 293 yards to Alabama's 290.
Marks also accounted for State's lone score as he notched a one-yard touchdown run as time expired.
Alabama scored the game's first 30 points, taking a 24-0 lead by halftime and adding on a pair of fourth-quarter field goals.
Next Up for MSU…
Following an open date, Mississippi State will return to action on Saturday, November 5, with a home game against Auburn. Kickoff time for the Bulldogs and Tigers has not yet been announced.
