TEAM NOTES
- Mississippi State completed a perfect week inside Humphrey Coliseum and has won six of its last seven games courtesy of a 78-76 victory over No. 24 Alabama to improve to 12-4, 3-1 in the SEC. The back-and-forth affair featured 15 ties and 19 lead changes.
- Saturday's win was State's first victory of the season over a top 25 opponent and a NCAA Net Quad 1 foe.
- The Bulldogs had three players score at least 15 points for the fourth time this season. State has won all four of those decisions.
- The Maroon and White overcame a halftime deficit for the second straight game this season and for the 24th time under Ben Howland. Overall, 15 of the 24 occasions have come versus SEC opponents.
- The Bulldogs have won 10 of their 11 games at Humphrey Coliseum this season.
- Mississippi State snapped a three-game winning streak by the Crimson Tide in the series. Overall, the Bulldogs moved to 60-39 against Alabama in home games and has won four of their last five versus the Crimson Tide inside Humphrey Coliseum.
- Mississippi State outrebounded Alabama by a 43-32 margin fueled by a 27-13 advantage during the second half. The Bulldogs have won the battle of the boards by double figures eight times this season.
- Mississippi State set a new season-high with 18 offensive rebounds.
- The Bulldogs knocked down 17 of their 24 field goals inside the paint to secure a 34-28 edge in paint points. The Maroon and White has scored outscored their opponents on the interior in 14 of 16 games on the season.
- Mississippi State converted on 28-of-38 at the foul line, both makes and attempts were season-highs.

Iverson Molinar
- Paced the Bulldogs with 24 points sparked by a solid 7-of-8 clip from the free throw line.
- Extended his streak to 16 consecutive games in double figures to start the season.
- Marked the 13th time in his career with a 20-plus point performance and the 4th time he has dialed up back-to-back 20-plus point efforts.
- Mississippi State is 11-2 when Molinar eclipses the 20-point barrier.
- Tallied his fourth game with 20-plus points and 5-plus rebounds.
- Also contributed a team-leading four assists and two steals.
- Passed Joe Dan Gold (1961-62-63), Greg Grim (1978-79-80), Marcus Grant (1992-93-94-95) and Winsome Frazier (2002-03-04-05-06) to move into 42nd place on the program's all-time scoring list.
- Has 971 career points and is 39 away from becoming the 41st player in program history and eighth under Ben Howland to accomplish the feat.
- Contributed 10 of his 15 points during the second half.
- Marked the fourth time this season and second time in SEC action that Moore has tallied at least 15 points.
- A perfect 9-for-9 at the charity stripe headed by eight key conversions inside the last 6:10 of the contest.
- Recorded his second double-double at Mississippi State and 17th career double-double.
- Poured in 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting and grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
- Chipped in double figures in eight of his last 11 outings.
- Led State in rebounds in 10 of 16 games.
- Returned to the starting lineup after missing the team's last two games.
- Contributed six points and four rebounds.
- Andersson Garcia worked his way to eight points, seven rebounds and two steals.
