STARKVILLE – Mississippi State went 2-2 at the Stillwater Regional, with its losses coming to No. 5 Oklahoma State, but the Bulldogs rewrote State's NCAA Tournament record book along the way. Most notably, MSU tied the single-game scoring and home run records against Campbell, and Mia Davidson became MSU's career leader in tournament games played over the weekend.
MSU NCAA TOURNAMENT TEAM GAME RECORDS – State broke the program's NCAA Tournament single-game record with four long balls on Saturday night … The previous record of three was set on May 20, 2018, at Arizona … The Bulldogs tied the school record for scoring in an NCAA Tournament game against Campbell, matching the 12 runs State scored against North Dakota State on May 19, 2018.
MSU NCAA TOURNAMENT INDIVIDUAL CAREER RECORDS:
Mia Davidson – Became MSU's all-time career games played leader in the NCAA Tournament with 12 games started in her career … She also now holds State's career record for home runs (3) and walks (7) in the tournament.
Alyssa Loza – Earned the first save in MSU's Tournament history on Friday against Boston University.
Aspen Wesley – Is one of three pitchers in MSU history with a 0.00 career ERA in the Tournament (minimum 3.0 IP).

Streak Snapped – Boston University entered the regional on an 18-game winning streak, which was the second-longest active streak in the nation, before the Bulldogs defeated the Terriers to open the tournament … BU's Ali Dubois entered the game with a 25-0 record, and the Terriers had won 29 consecutive games that she pitched in … Dubois had not taken a loss since March 7, 2020, against San Diego State.
Grace Fagan – Threw 2.0 perfect innings against Campbell in her first game action since April 20 against Jackson State.

Alyssa Loza – Earned her sixth save of the year against Boston University … Became the first Bulldog with a save in the NCAA Tournament in school history ... Now the fourth Bulldog in school history with a six-save season … Had five saves in eight appearances in the month of May.
