Bulldogs Conclude Season At NCAA Regionals

CLE ELUM, Wash. – Mississippi State men's golf saw its 2020-21 campaign come to an end Wednesday, as the Bulldogs missed the cut in the Cle Elum Regional.
"I'm thankful for this team and what they accomplished this year," said MSU head coach Dusty Smith. "Obviously, this was not the way we wanted to finish the year, and we have to own that as players and as coaches. I can't thank our seniors enough for all the sacrifices they gave to our program. I know we have a resilient group coming back next season and look forward to getting back at it."

State finished the day with a team score of 307 for an overall 54-hole score of 895. MSU placed 13th for the event at Tumble Creek Club.

Ford Clegg and Hunter Logan paced the team throughout the regional, with both Bulldogs shooting 6-over for the event to tie for 33rd. Loic Ettlin, who substituted in during the second round, shot 5-over on the final day to end 8-over. William Wann tied for 63rd in the field, while Austin Fulton finished in 67th.
