
Softball’s Series Opener Postponed, Teams To Play Doubleheader Saturday

STARKVILLE – The rain refused to relent on Friday night, so Mississippi State and No. 17 Missouri have postponed their series opener.
After announcing two 30-minute delays, the decision was made to push the contest to Saturday afternoon. The teams will now play a doubleheader with first pitch set for 1 p.m. CT on SEC Network. The second game will begin at approximately 3:30 p.m. and air on SEC Network+.
