Henderson Advances to 60m Hurdle Finals, Breaks Record

He will compete in the finals on the last day of the NCAA Indoor Championships.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Mississippi State track and field's Jesse Henderson advances to the finals of the men's 60m hurdles at the NCAA Indoor Championships after automatically qualifying in the semifinals on Friday.
Not only did he auto-qualify by placing second in his heat, but he also advanced after breaking the school record in the event for the second time this season, crossing the finish line in 7.66. He previously broke the record at the USC Indoor Open, finishing in 7.74.
Henderson finished in fifth overall and will run in the finals on Saturday in Fayetteville, with the gun firing at 2:30 p.m. CT.
The entire day of competition will be streamed on ESPN3. A recap of the day along with results will be posted after the conclusion of the race.
