STARKVILLE – Mississippi State players are accustomed to playing football on Thanksgiving and that will be the case for four former Bulldogs this week.
Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys will host their annual Turkey Day game on Thursday afternoon against Johnathan Abram, K.J. Wright and the Las Vegas Raiders. Later that night, J.T. Gray will be in action as the New Orleans Saints welcome the Buffalo Bills to the Big Easy.
The Raiders-Cowboys game will be televised on CBS while the Saints will be shown on NBC.
There will only be one other head-to-head matchup between MSU players during Week 12. The New York Giants and Benardrick McKinney will start Sunday's slate hosting Fletcher Cox, Darius Slay and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Slay has scored a defensive touchdown in back-to-back games and three this season.
Two more Bulldogs will be in the primetime spotlight this week. Tyre Phillips and the Baltimore Ravens will be in action Sunday night against the Cleveland Browns. Gabe Jackson and the Seattle Seahawks are on Monday Night Football visiting the Washington Football Team.
Logan Cooke (Jaguars) and Preston Smith (Packers) are at home Sunday while Denico Autry (Titans), Jeffery Simmons (Titans) and Cameron Dantzler (Vikings) have road games that day.
