There are two games on the NFL Week 5 slate that will pit former Mississippi State players against one another.
Montez Sweat and the Washington Football Team will host J.T. Gray and the New Orleans Saints while Denico Autry, Jeffery Simmons and the Tennessee Titans travel to Jacksonville to take on Logan Cooke and the Jaguars. Both of those contests are scheduled for a noon start on Sunday and televised on CBS.
But Bulldog fans won't have to wait that long to see one of their favorites in action. Gabe Jackson will be in action Thursday night as his Seattle Seahawks welcome the Los Angeles Rams to town at 7:20 on Fox, NFL Network and Amazon.
Two other primetime matchups will also have a pair of former MSU standouts playing. Chris Jones and the Kansas City Chiefs will be in the Sunday night game at 7:20 on NBC against the Buffalo Bills while Pernell McPhee and Baltimore Ravens get the Monday Night Football spotlight against the Indianapolis Colts at 7:15 on ESPN.
The Green Bay Packers contingent of Hunter Bradley, Kylin Hill, Elgton Jenkins, Chauncey Rivers and Preston Smith are on the road at the Cincinnati Bengals this week as is Fletcher Cox and Darius Slay whose Philadelphia Eagles are at the Carolina Panthers.
The Minnesota Vikings and Cameron Dantzler host the Detroit Lions and Johnathan Abram, K.J. Wright and the Las Vegas Raiders are at home against the Chicago Bears.
Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys will go for their fourth straight win Sunday at 3:25 p.m. as they host the New York Giants televised by Fox.
