Humphrey Coliseum Covid-19 Guidelines
October 29, 2021 | Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball
STARKVILLE – Mississippi State Athletics has received guidelines for everyone attending men's and women's basketball games inside Humphrey Coliseum to begin the 2021-22 season.
Â
In accordance with current CDC and Mississippi Department of Health guidelines, all individuals are encouraged to wear face coverings over the nose and mouth in all indoor locations while on the MSU campus. However, should the level of transmission in Oktibbeha County increase to "substantial" or "high," the CDC and MSDH will require all individuals to wear face coverings regardless of vaccination status.
Â
Fans attending basketball games in Humphrey Coliseum, including employees and stadium workers, are also encouraged to conduct a self-screening before leaving their homes. The self-screening includes an "at-home" temperature check and a review of potential Covid-19 symptoms. If anyone has any of these symptoms, or a fever greater than 100.4 degrees, that person should stay home.
Â
To the extent possible, all transactions will be contactless, such as mobile ticketing, ticket scanning, touchless restroom fixtures, cashless concessions, and fan apparel sales. With contactless transactions, all concession stands throughout The Hump will be cashless.
Â
If SEC, MSU, or state guidelines change or are updated during the season, adjustments or revisions will be made.
