MSU-Vandy set for 3 p.m. kickoff

Mississippi State's road tilt at Vanderbilt on Oct. 23 is scheduled for a 3 p.m. kickoff on SEC Network the league announced on Monday.
It will be the third time this season the Bulldogs have kicked off at 3 p.m. (Louisiana Tech, Memphis) and their second time to appear on the SEC Network (Texas A&M).
MSU leads the all-time series against the Commodores 14-7-2 overall and have won eight of the last nine meetings, including four straight. The Bulldogs beat Vandy 24-17 on homecoming last season.
It will be State's first time to play at Vanderbilt Stadium since 2009. The series is tied 5-5-2 in Nashville, Tenn.
