KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Incoming soccer freshman KK Pavatt was announced on July 9 as a member of the United Soccer Coaches Association's High School Girls All-America Team for the winter and spring seasons of the 2019-20 school year, as well as a member of the 2020 Girls High School Spring All-Region Team for the Central Region.Â
Â
Pavatt is one of 26 females to have earned the All-America Team recognition and is one of 45 in total. For her All-Region Team selection, she is one of 19 for her region.
Â
"I am grateful for this award," said Pavatt. "I want to thank my family and my coaches, but most importantly Jesus for getting me to this point in my life, both on and off the field. This is a testament to the fact that hard work pays off and dreams do come true!"
Â
In late June, Pavatt was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for Arkansas. She adds these two accolades from the United Soccer Coaches Association to her belt and is sure to add more in her future.
Â
"KK has worked incredibly hard for these achievements," said Mississippi State Head Coach James Armstrong. "We are very proud to have her as a member of the Bulldog Soccer family. We look forward to her continuing to grow as a player and person in the upcoming years."
Â
The forward has graduated in Conway, Arkansas and will attend Mississippi State this fall.
