Levi Leads After Two Rounds at the Liz Murphey Classic

ATHENS, Ga. – The Mississippi State women's golf team remains tied for second place after round two at the Liz Murphey Fall Collegiate Classic. The Bulldogs shot 1-over for a score of 289 on Saturday.
Junior Hannah Levi is in first place for the event after rolling in six birdies for the day and carding a career best round. She shot a 6-under 66, tying the fourth-lowest round in school history. It also tied the lowest-round since 2017 when Jessica Peng shot 7-under at the UCF Challenge.
"Every part of my game just seemed to come together today and it was a lot of fun," said Levi. "I'm excited to be leading after two days and just have to stick to my process tomorrow. I'm ready to go compete with these girls tomorrow and finish the season off strong."
Tied for 10th place, senior Blair Stockett shot her second-consecutive even par round. Stockett is an even 144 heading into the final round on Sunday.
Tied for 18th place, senior Clara Moyano shot a 1-over 73 for the day, while sophomore Abbey Daniel is tied for 47th place after shooting a 6-over 78 in the second round.
The Bulldogs are set to compete in the final round of event on Sunday. State will tee off at 9:25 a.m. Fans can follow along with the live scoring at GolfStat.com.
