#FromStateToSundays: Week 12 Preview
November 26, 2020 | Football
STARKVILLE – Thanksgiving Day puts second-year defensive end Montez Sweat in a national spotlight as he and the Washington Football Team take on the Dallas Cowboys at 3:30 p.m. CT on FOX.
Dallas will be the latest team to feel Sweat's pass rushing presence. He has a team-leading 6.0 sacks this year, which is 15th in the NFL. The former Mississippi State Bulldog ranks fourth in Washington franchise history for the most sacks (13.0) in a player's first 26 games.
As many as 14 former Bulldogs could be active on Sunday, with one potential head-to-head matchup.
Indianapolis' Denico Autry could be eligible to return from the reserve/COVID-19 list when the Colts host the Titans at noon. Autry leads Indianapolis with 6.0 sacks in 2020, and would meet another prominent Bulldog defender in Jeffery Simmons, who is third in the league in batted passes.
Minnesota's Cameron Dantzler, Jacksonville's Logan Cooke and Las Vegas' Johnathan Abram and Gabe Jackson round out the early kickoffs for the day.
On Sunday afternoon, Martinas Rankins will be on Kansas City's active roster for the first time since he was sidelined by a knee injury in Week 10 of 2019. Rankin will be joined by Willie Gay Jr. and Chris Jones for a 3:25 p.m. kickoff on CBS.
Monday Night Football on ESPN will showcase three of State's most-productive defensive stars in the NFL over the last five years. Philadelphia's Fletcher Cox has made the Pro Bowl in each of the last five years and has been joined by the Eagles' Darius Slay in each of the last three. They host the Seattle Seahawks and K.J. Wright, who earned Pro Bowl recognition in 2016, at 7:15 p.m.

Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts | 12 p.m. on CBS
Las Vegas Raiders at Atlanta Falcons | 12 p.m. on CBS
New Orleans Saints at Denver Broncos | 3:05 p.m. on FOX
