STARKVILLE – Reigning AFC Defensive Player of the Week Jeffery Simmons kicks off Week 10 of the NFL slate on Thursday night when the Tennessee Titans host the Indianapolis Colts.
Simmons is one of 15 former Mississippi State standouts who will be in action this week, and his game is one of two to feature head-to-head matchups for former Bulldogs.
The Titans and Colts kick off at 7:20 p.m. CT on FOX and NFL Network on Thursday Night Football. Denico Autry, who posted six pressures in his last outing with a pair of sacks, returns from a bye week with the Colts.
On Sunday, Logan Cooke's Jacksonville Jaguars meet a quartet of Bulldogs in Green Bay. The Packers, who feature Hunter Bradley, Elgton Jenkins, Will Redmond and Preston Smith host the Jaguars at noon on FOX.
Fletcher Cox and Darius Slay lead the Eagles' defense against the New York Giants, and Washington's Montez Sweat meets the Detroit Lions at noon on FOX.
Afternoon kickoffs include J.T. Gray's Saints hosting the 49ers at 3:05 p.m. on FOX and Johnathan Abram and Gabe Jackson playing for the Raiders against the Broncos on CBS. At 3:25 p.m., K.J. Wright's Seahawks will play at the Los Angeles Rams.
Sunday Night Football on NBC will shine a spotlight on Pernell McPhee when the Baltimore Ravens travel to face the New England Patriots at 7:20 p.m.
