MSU-Tennessee Football Set For 11 a.m. CT on SEC Network

STARKVILLE -- For the first time since 2008, Mississippi State football will take on Tennessee in Knoxville's Neyland Stadium. The Oct. 12 contest will kick off at 11 a.m. CT/12 p.m. ET and be televised by SEC Network, the league office announced Monday.
State is open this week, the first of two open dates on the 2019 slate. For the fourth time in five seasons, the Bulldogs are 3-2 entering the sixth week of the season.
MSU and Tennessee meet for the first time since 2012, and it will be just the third time both face off in Knoxville since 1996. The Vols return the trip to Starkville in 2024. Tennessee leads the all-time series 28-16-1.
The following is the Oct. 12 SEC lineup (all times Central):
11 a.m. – South Carolina at Georgia, ESPN
11 a.m. – Mississippi State at Tennessee, SEC Network
2:30 p.m. – Alabama at Texas A&M, CBS
3 p.m. – UNLV at Vanderbilt, SEC Network
6 p.m. – Ole Miss at Missouri, ESPN2
6:30 p.m. – Arkansas at Kentucky, SEC Network
7 p.m. – Florida at LSU, ESPN
